Wanni Operation - Troops take control of Palamudai

The Security Forces have taken control of the Palamudai area in Vavuniya from the terrorists.. Military Spokesman Brig. Udaya Nanayakkara said the area was captured by soldiers of the Army Task Force No. 2 during an operation. After consolidating their power in Palamudai. The Brigadier observed that these soldiers were also successful in taking control of the Eastern coastal area in Nayaaru.
